Premise
New Bethlem Hospital, a secure facility in New England for the mentally ill. Present day.

In this facility, those with serious delusions are provided with medication, therapy, and a safe, secure environment to work towards overcoming their delusions. Patients tend to think they're extraordinary, or coming from extraordinary circumstances. Survivors of apocalypses, werewolves, superheroes, and more are represented amongst the patients of New Bethlem.

Whether they're actually deluded, or just abducted, it's hard to say. Certainly, some have convincing stories. But, they have no proof. Even those who claim to have powers find themselves powerless here.

The staff is a different matter. They may be more than they appear, and they don't seem to operate on the same restrictions as the patients. Either they're just as deluded, or there's something going on in New Bethlem, something that the patients may catch on to, but are never able to prove definitively.

Characters can be AU'd into the setting as staff or patients. Whether they're actually who they are in canon is up to you. Go wild with the premise. Have fun. Do whatever you want! Just bear in mind that the inmates definitely don't have the run of this asylum.
